About Us

The Windsor Volunteers for Literacy Foundation was incorporated in 2008.
Since 2001, the funds we have raised have helped more than 700 adults and 1000 children improve their literacy skills.
We support community events that involve improving literacy to help in the fight against poverty.
Examples of organizations we have donated to include:

The Windsor Public Library, for the Adult Literacy Program as well as computers for the Literacy Classroom

Literary Arts Windsor for the annual Bookfest Windsor that promotes books, reading and writing

Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor - Essex County for activities that promote literacy

Rotary Club of Windsor, to assist with the Little Free Library project
